Workshops and Presentations
Our goal is to provide advocacy education, empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to become advocates in their communities through our Senior Advocacy Workshops. These workshops are held in various parts throughout San Diego County and can be requested by any group, housing association, or civic group anywhere in the county.
For organizations working with older adult populations, we provide Advocacy 101. These workshops provide the expertise of senior advocate and thought-leader Paul Downey (SCC president & CEO), as well as bring organizations together to learn and discuss overall advocacy strategies, tactics and an opportunity to network with other organizations facing similar challenges.
