Job Title: Nutrition Site Coordinator

Reports To: Food Service Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Assignment Category – Regular, Part-Time

Department: Nutrition

Hours per day: 3 hrs., +/- .5 hours

Summary

The Nutrition Site Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the dining room and kitchen at the site. The Nutrition Site Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining positive community relations and ongoing communication with the Food Service Director.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to normal risks of working in an office environment (e.g., risks due to heavy computer use) and those of the kitchen and dining room.

Compensation for this part-time position with Serving Seniors include: $13.00/hr. starting rate; generous PTO (Paid Time Off); 10 paid holidays annually; employer-sponsored 403(b) retirement plan with 3% match; engaging, positive work environment.
