Food Service Driver – Part-Time

Job Title: Food Service Driver

Reports To: Food Service Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Assignment Category – Regular, Part-Time

Department: Nutrition

Hours per day: 5 hours, +/- 1 hour

Summary

Under the supervision of a site-specific manager, drives a company van or other light vehicle in the pickup and delivery of meals and food service materials, and supplies and performs related work as required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to normal risks associated with driving and working in a kitchen/dining room.
