Food from the heart is more than just an expression, it is the act of providing a critical need to those less fortunate. During this coming holiday season and throughout the year, a warm and nutritious meal provides seniors with not only sustenance but a sense of hope in their time of need.  Senior Community Centers provides seniors with 1,800 meals a day at 10 congregate dining sites and to homebound seniors throughout San Diego. Unfortunately, this need continues to increase each year, as more and more seniors come to us looking for nourishment.
